Web School For Retail

Aspiring retail industry professionals have the availability of a new applied certificate program, designed to advance their careers at Drexel University’s Goodwin College, in conjunction with Drexel’s Westphal College of Media Arts and Design in Philadelphia.

It is a six course, 18 to 20 credit program. The schedule is flexible, to enable the working professional to participate. The school’s new Certificate in Retail Leadership program may be taken on campus or online. The program effectively develops students’ skills in the many facets of the retail sector, including operations, management, merchandising, strategic branding and marketing. Along with a set of two core courses, Introduction to Retail Management and Retail Merchandise Management, students enrolled in the Certificate in Retail Leadership program also choose from the following elective courses to fulfill program requirements:

Customer Service Theory and Practice
Foundations in Creativity
Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Introduction to Marketing Management
Creative Studies in the WWW
Career and Professional Development
Power of Retail Brands
Applied In-Store Visual Strategy
Retail Leadership Capstone
