<p>Made of plastic and oval in shape, Sneaker Kandy can be used with any shoe that ties with laces. “The product is durable and will probably last longer than most sneakers,” adds Barski. There are four designs in a series, and two sets of a particular series in an eight piece pack. “We have a lot of popular design series, some of the top being our Ninja, Froggie, Camoflauge and Soccer series,” says Barski. “We love when kids take pictures of their favorite designs of Sneaker Kandy on their shoes, so we can post them up on Facebook.”</p>
<p>To market the collectible craze, retailers can purchase a small rack for $15, which showcases 72 additionally purchased Sneaker Kandy eight piece packs. The rack is set up as three tiers and showcases a sneaker on top to help demonstrate the product. “It’s eye catching and adds to the impulse buy factor,” explains Barski. While there are hundreds of designs to choose from, there are more to come, including some licensed Sneaker Kandy.</p>

Filled with an alcohol based, anti-bacterial sanitizing product, each spray bottle contains up to 50 applications. “I chose a scent that was fresh, clean and has somewhat of a lemony punch to it,” Jeffries adds. “Happy Cheeks was designed with everyone in mind, men, women, boys and girls. And parents no long need to fear public restrooms.”</p>
<p>With multiple display options, Happy Cheeks is a perfect fit at any cash register with a cardboard display box, or the product can hang anywhere throughout the store on a peg board or clip strip. For a wholesale price under $1, Happy Cheeks is a good value buy, making at least keystone between $1.49 and $1.99 retail. The company requires no minimum orders, but is flexible on pricing based on the volume of the purchase.</p>

Most reading cushions are filled with beans, beads or stuffing, or made of hard plastic, but the BookWedge blows up like a balloon, weighing only 3.5 ounces and folding flat when deflated. The attached bumper holds material in place, including hard and soft cover books, along with e-readers and iPads.</p>
<p>Ergonomically designed, the BookWedge reduces strain on the arms and neck by providing support at just the right angle. “The BookWedge has been more than a useful tool for people who like to read. It has helped out those who are disabled, elderly, suffering from arthritis and more,” explains John Schulte, marketing consultant for BookWedge. “And if you are a bookstore or perhaps an online bookseller, the BookWedge is for you. Customizable for promotional purposes, a logo or website can be added to the product’s design. There is a 100 unit minimum for custom printing.”</p>
<p>The BookWedge also costs less than other book holders, wholesaling for $8 a unit for small orders of 250 or less. “The price goes down the larger the order,” notes Schulte. Retailers can easily make more than keystone at $17.99 retail. “It is suggested that retailers don’t mark the product any lower than $14.99,” Schulte adds. With a minimum order of 25 units, or one box, any size retailer can make the BookWedge available in their store, either hanging on a peg hook or blowing it up and demonstrating its use.</p>

David Bazzoni, developer of Sportula Products, and his team have put a lot of effort into the subsidiary over the past year, to make sure the company is truly offering something new and fun with its licensed tailgating tools. It’s first product, the Sportula, proved to be a great impulse buy for tailgating fans looking to flaunt their team pride in a unique way. “The Sportula is one of a kind,” says Bazzoni. “It is an 18 and a half inch laser-cut hamburger flipper, with a bottle opener at the end.”</p>
<p>Sports fans and tailgating enthusiasts, however, have more to flip over than burgers, with Sportula Products’ newest addition, Boasters. While reminiscent of a coaster, a Boaster sports a heavy duty stainless steel design with cork backing, and the logos, letters, and artwork are laser cut into the stainless steel surface. Following suit with the Sportula, Boasters will be organized into six product lines based on six themes. The Collegiate, NASCAR, Patriotic, Corporate, Greek, and Enthusiast lines feature university logos, racecar drivers’ numbers, military service, college fraternity letters, and generic guy-friendly images. And now, just in time for baseball season, Sportula Products has closed a licensing agreement with MLB, offering fans an opportunity to buy Sportulas and Boasters with their favorite team logos.</p>
<p>Wildman Business Group offers over 100 variations on both products; a marketing dream for retailers looking to customize a display for their store. Bazzoni notes that the ability to customize a floor or counter display with product that appeals to a particular demographic is key. “We designed a brand that will fit the needs of any retailer in any location,” he says. For example, a retailer might customize a display with a college logo from a nearby university, with #1 Dad and #1 Granddad near Fathers’ Day, and so on. The 18 unit counter display and 36 unit floor display are free, when retailers buy sufficient quantities to fill them. And to enhance a store’s new tailgating department, a free display with the purchase of 18 Boasters can be ordered, to sit on top of each Sportula display.</p>
<p>A number of purchasing programs are available, in which both the Sportulas and Boasters are available for under $15 wholesale. A Sportula and a four piece Boaster set, featuring a licensed cut out, will both retail for $24.99. Wildman Business Group favors personal interaction with its customers, and continues to practice this with its sales team. The Sportula website is not set up for the wholesale trade. “For retailers, the site can serve as a catalog and a contact page,” Bazzoni adds.</p>

It saves tons of money, and I know what I’m getting,” says sales representative, Mitchell Snow. “The concealable elastic band, known as The Bootlegger, allows event goers to store six mini bottles under any pant leg.” Snow admits, however, that the bootlegger has other useful purposes. “I wear it to the gym to hold my iPod and keys, or to store a five hour energy drink,” he adds.</p>
<p>Since its development one and a half years ago, and keeping costs in mind, The Bootlegger is now also offered as a kit. The kit includes not only The Bootlegger band, but also bottles and a pouring device, allowing users to fill the bottles with their favorite spirits. The bottles can then be recycled and reused. The Bootlegger is made of an elastic band and fits comfortably, with six pockets to hold bottles securely. The band is available in five colors, including red, gold, orange, burgundy and grey. “It may be simple in design, but it is practical,” says Snow. “Now event attendees can carry the bar with them, saving money and having fun, but are always advised to drink responsibly.”</p>
<p>Retailers must purchase by the dozen, or six and six of individual Bootleggers and kits. The single Bootlegger is $5 apiece wholesale, while the kit is $10. “Retailers can easily keystone the price of both products,” notes Snow. “Large volume discounts are available, as well as new customer discounts.” Products will be shipped from Asheville, NC, and while displays are not currently available, each Bootlegger is individually packaged in a durable clam shell package.</p>

<p>The newest addition to Iconeum’s lineup is the Rosary Card, a new rosary for the new millenium. Iconeum’s Rosary Cards, or rosaries for the wallet, is a unique devotional item featuring a rosary on a plastic card. Identical in design and finish to any standard credit card, it features a holy image on one side and three dimensional rosary beads on the other. “The beads are raised over the surface of the card like Braille. We offer many traditional Catholic images in our standard catalog,” adds Cwiklik. Custom images can also be printed at no extra cost, but are subject to a minimum order quantity of 500 cards, otherwise the minimum is only $100.</p>

While some products are newer than others, Optari’s product lineup is still fresh and new to most of the retail industry. “We began with our line of versatile, customizable tote bags, and added a wristlet and backpack to the line in 2011,” says Jeremiah Pent, president. “And we just introduced our new handmade bracelets, known as Spikeletz.” Optari’s new bracelets are colorful, soft, and stretchy, and come in 32 fun, spiky designs. Spikeletz are $2.50 apiece wholesale, and sell for $190 with a display of 72 bracelets.</p>
<p>“Our popular Sol Totes come in two sizes and lots of colors. Durable, waterproof, and easy to clean, our customers use them for all sorts of things, including diaper bags, beach or pool bags, gift bags, lunch totes and more,” adds Pent. “Once you’ve chosen your tote, it can be customized further with our Fobbz and Mini Fobbz charms collections.” Fobbz are large charms (four inches) that feature a rivet in the back of the charm that plugs into the holes on all Optari products. Though originally designed for the Sol Tote line, they fit all Optari products. Mini Fobbz do the same, but are smaller in size (two inches). Destined to be the coolest pack at school this fall, Optari’s new backpack features two large internal compartments, one large internal pocket, pockets for pens, side net pockets, and a front panel for collecting Mini Fobbz. Backpacks are available in six colors, and sized comfortably at 6 x 13 x 17 inches.</p>
<p>Totes wholesale for $7.50 (small) and $10 (large), wristlets for $6.50, and backpacks for $15. Fobbz charms for the totes are $2.50, and sold in four packs for $10. Mini Fobbz, for backpacks and wristlets, are $1.50 and sold in four packs for $6. “All products may be purchased wholesale at <a href="http://optariwholesale.com/">optariwholesale.com</a>. Most retailers simply double our wholesale prices,” adds Pent. An initial order requires a minimum of $200, but reorders are only $25. “There is free freight on orders over $500, and volume discounts on a case by case basis,” says Pent.</p>

A vast majority of people love bright and vibrant colors, and that is what we base our design decisions on.”</p>
<p>Founded in 1979, the family-run business has nearly 30 designs of premium weight, 100 percent pre-shrunk cotton shirts that offer high quality and vibrant colors. But it isn’t only T-shirts that feature the tye-dye look. “Retailers can mix and match the designs and products,” explains Ruggieri, “as long as they buy at least a dozen items total, it can be any combination of shirts, onesies, hoodies, dresses or tank tops.”</p>
<p>If a retailer can’t decide what to mix and match, Ruggieri suggests four particular designs that always sell well, and these include Bright Spiral (always the top seller), Citrus, Woodstock, and Outer Limits. All offer the opportunity for a significant markup. “We sell our shirts for $4.35, and retailers sell them for around $10. It’s a quick turnaround item where they make a solid profit,” he says. “Our profit margin is minimal, as to keep our customers’ cost appealing. We have a huge customer base, and around 75 percent of them have been with us for years.”</p>
<p>MDM offers excellent customer service, taking back any merchandise without question, and ensuring that customers leave the transaction happy. “With the economy the way it is now, retailers are looking to make money, and MDM products can double your money. We’ve been selling for years, and I think it’s more in style now than it was 10 or 15 years ago,” notes Ruggieri. “It seems to be making a comeback, because people just like tye-dye.”</p>

The original idea behind Dynaflex’s gyro was to strengthen grip, wrist and arms, as well as increase coordination and conditioning for most sports. “Our gyros range from 30 pounds of torque with 13,000 RPMs, all the way up to our line of extreme gyros that can deliver up to 60 pounds of torque, with 21,000 RPMs,” explains Saldana. “They’re about the size of a tennis ball and they’re fun to use.”</p>
<p>Through further research, it was discovered that Dynaflex’s gyros also played a major role in pain relief and rehabilitation of many hand, wrist, arm and shoulder injuries, increasing blood flow, circulation and vascularity. “As the engineering and design of our products progressed, we added certain features, components and accessories to the product line,” says Saldana. For instance, the DFX Sports Pro comes with a power cord, docking station and training CD. These added features allow users to choose from multiple starting methods, and view examples of some of the exercises they can do with the gyro. The DFX Sports Pro docking station has a built-in power starter that spins the gyro up to speed, making it much quicker and easier to activate. “Activating the gyro has become easier for individuals suffering from more severe conditions and injuries,” adds Saldana. “Many are okay with using the power cord, which is similar to winding up a yo-yo, but some prefer the docking station.”</p>
<p>The Sports Pro with docking station wholesales for $19.95, and sells for $39.95 retail. “We like to keep most of our profit margins around 50 percent, but also offer different tiers of wholesale pricing, depending on the volume of the order,” says Saldana. All gyro models and levels of resistance come in a case of 24. The acrylic counter display, with demo units and power starters, can also be made available to interested retailers. “This allows customers to experience the gyro for themselves and feel the power instantly,” explains Saldana. “This helps drive sales, as this is definitely a hands-on, must feel product.”</p>
